1. OOTP. I cant really explain why its my fav, it just is 2. DH. A very close second 3. GOF. Very exciting 4. PS. Where the magic and discovery begin! Cant get enough 5. HBP. Didnt exactly grab me like the others. Still love it 6. POA. Sirius! 7. COS. -------------------- " Pathetic! With the whole wide world of ear-related humour before you, you go for holey?" " Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all, those who live without love." Is it love again? |

QUOTE(jaimedanser @ Aug 17 2007, 05:55 PM) 1. Deathly Hallows-Beautiful book, great way to end the best series in the world, so many touching lines... 2. Prisoner of Azkaban-Well, actually, my 1 & 2 are basically tied, but...I loved how we went off the Voldemort track for a while. It was nice =D Instead we really got to see Harry grow up for the first time and meet his godfather 3. Order of the Phoenix-REBELLION AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT!!!! What's not to love? 4. Goblet of Fire-When the books first saw darkness, really. Killing of Frank and Cedric and Bertha. Dark Mark. VOLDEMORT. Love the book =D 5. Philosopher's Stone-First book. Introduced us to Harry (and his courage), Hogwarts, and Magic. Yippee =D 6. Chamber of Secrets-I actually don't really prefer PS to CoS, but if you are making me choose...I love the book. Gilderoy is HILARIOUS. 7. Half-Blood Prince-I found a little annoying. It was everyone not believing Harry that Malfoy was after DD and had been made a Death Eater. Harry trailing Malfoy...pretending to be good at potions...obnoxious Ron/Lavendar plot line =( I did love all the Half-Blood Prince stuff though, and that was the important stuff, eh? (sheesh, I'm like the only person who didn't like HBP!!! *ducks to avoid angry mobbers*) that's really weird i put my books in almost that order for like the same reasons- and i ddin't like HBP much either This post has been edited by lupinwandcaster: Aug 17 2007, 05:17 PM -------------------- LUPIN FAN FOR LIFE

1. PoA- I love that Harry finally gets family and the last few chapters were some of her best writing. We're also introduced to Lupin, who is one of my favorite characters.
2. DH- so much backstory and action, I love how fast-pace and intense the book was 3. HBP- I love learning about Tom Riddle and how he became Voldemort. Riddle has always been interesting to me. 4. OotP- The plot was very intricate and Harry finally is an actual teenager. Also, REVOLUTION. 5. GoF- I love the urgency at the end of the book, with Dumbledore planning for the Order and then telling Fudge basically what happens in OotP. 6. CoS- We're introduced to Tom Riddle 7. SS- The beginning. I don't think SS was the worst, it introduced everything and everyone but I guess after knowing everything we do after reading all 7, it's at the bottom because the other books were starting to get more intricate. PoA and DH are really tied but maybe when I reread the series, I may be able to choose between the 2. -------------------- |

Hm, this is hard. Let's see
1. Deathly Hallows: I'm a sucker for the R/Hr in this one 2. Half-Blood Prince: Again with R/Hr, but also this book just contains more than the others...I can't explain it. 3. Prisoner of Azkaban: I'm currently in a re-read of this book and it's grabbing more than the others have. There's something about Lupin being the DADA professor and all that I'm loving this time around. 4. Order of the Phoenix: I'm not very fond of Angry!Harry, but the whole plot is great. 5. Goblet of Fire: It's a good story, but the others above are better. 6. Sorcerer's Stone: It's a good one. I love the intro to the magic world, but it's also the most immature if you know what I mean. It's still great. 7. Chamber of Secrets: Alot like what I said with SS, but SS just has a better story. It's still good, though. It might change tomorrow, though. It won't be easy but I'll try to make this brief:
1. Prisoner of Azkaban - I've posted this before but this is my favorite for so many reasons. This is the book that introduced a lot: the Marauder's Map, the Marauder's themselves, important and loved characters like Lupin and Sirius, dementors, patronuses, the Shrieking Shack...I could go on. 2. Deathly Hallows - So much is revealed in this action packed story. It made me laugh as well as cry and it wrapped up the series in an amazing way. 3. Half-Blood Prince - Loved the HBP parts, the Slug Club, we learn more about Riddle's past and the horcruxes. Harry is older and more mature. 4. Order of the Phoenix - Harry is a moody teenager, Ron gets to play Quidditch, we meet the members of the Order, Grimmauld Place...etc. 5. Philosopher's Stone/ Sorcerer's Stone - The book that started it all! 6. Goblet of Fire - All the adventure and danger of the Triwizard Tournament and Voldermort is back! 7. Chamber of Secrets - A good story just not one of my favorites but I did enjoy learning about Tom Riddle. -------------------- "I am not worried, Harry," said Dumbledore, his voice a little stronger despite the freezing water. "I am with you"
