I love the ones with JK Rowling (130 and 131). I also really liked the one they did right after finishing DH (111). I am a fairly new listener too and I have been listening to the ones from the live city tours and those are fun because it reminds me of the excitement before DH was released. Hope this helps.

If you're brand new and haven't already- you have to listen to PotterCast 130 and PotterCast 131. J.K. Rowling granted PC an exclusive interview and there's some really great discussion between the PC trio and Jo!

I personally love episode 60 because it was my first episode, but I don't even think that's on the iTunes feed anymore.

PotterCast 89 was hilarious when John Noe's mom came onto the show and told some pretty hilarious stories.

I hope that helps you out a bit!

The ones with JK Rowling are the only ones that I keep in my ipod, and some of the filkcasts too. I also love episode 50, because it explains a lot of the inside jokes that go on in Pottercast.

I actually liked episode 2.(Seems so long ago) The game show was one of my favorite segments ever. (To bad they got rid of it. Besides that, I loved the first holiday filkcast.(#18 Guru of Sloth rocks) Also, the first Mr Blood episode had to be the funniest PotterCast ever.(#27 I think) The pants game from episode #47 was also fun.

Those are my four favorites.

I'm a relatively new listener (I think I started right before DH came out) but I went back and downloaded a lot of the older shows. I've got to say I like 50, if nothing else for the outtakes after the episode.

John Noe Scottish man of Mystery
Chipoltle Monopoly
Internet is for Pottercast.

Absolutely classic.

If I'm in a bad mood I sometimes listen to that little 8 minute segment during my break. It makes me smile, and when your working retail and have to deal with things like crazy teachers who swear they ordered 40 copies of a book (that's actually at the B & N across the street) or the grandmother who wants something for their 12 year old grandchild but has no idea what they are interested in, you need anything you can to make you smile.

I started listening to PC only recently. My first episode, I think was the one after the one with J.K Rowling. I have become addicted to PC already! Can anyone recommend some older episodes to download?

While the ones with Jo are instant classics. I happen to love Episode #30 - Fun in the Sun. This was wayyyyy back when there was ModCast and Sue and the others talked about the Hogwarts founders. It was towards the end of winter just before spring and I just happen to love that time of year.

I keep all of the PotterCast episodes on my iPod - you never know when you need a fix, especially when you're traveling.

Well, the Jo ones are instant favorites. #138 is up there for me. Hmm... the Mr. Blood Episode, #42 Three Men and a Dawlish, and #61 the John and Sue show are what I've got just by looking at the titles. Oh and PC #15 is a favorite cause it was the first one I listened to.

Honestly, what I would reccomend, would be going back and listening right from episode 1. That would take a while now, but just say put as many on your MP3 player as you can and listen listen listen! There's so many great jokes and funny moments packed into every PC. If you want to skip over any or save some my advice would be skip the tour shows they were great and fun to listen to but centered very much around what was going to happen in DH.
