Ok, as far as I can tell, there's not a totally similar topic anywhere on the boards. I feel the movies, especially from PoA forward, deserve a bit more love than they occasionally get.
Prisoner of Azkaban The entire Knight Bus sequence. They did a ridiculously fantastic job with it. Watching it squeeze in-between the other two buses was a "Squee!" moment. Once at the Leaky Cauldron, we have Fudge's creepy hunchback assistant, who is about 5 different kinds of awesome in his 15 seconds or so of screen time. Loved the shot downstairs of the younger wizard reading a copy of Stephen Hawking's A Brief History of Time. Definitely a smile-inducing moment. Pretty much the entire Shrieking Shack scene. Alan Rickman, much as I wish there was more of him in the movies, is consistently great, and Gary Oldman is, well, Gary Freaking Oldman. |
