For me is has to be Shaiya, It is an awsome and beautiful FREE online game! All you have to do is make an account on its website, then download the game (takes 3-4 hours) then BAM! You are in an epic Role playing game with like a million other people! The look of the game is 10/10, and it is all eye candy! Even the smallest tasks get backed up with tones of flash and glamour! I really think everyone should give this game a try!

If we're talking MMRPG's here the chamberofchat (A branch of the leaky cauldron and thus a branch of this forum) is my favorite for Harry Potter.

I usually go to addictinggames.com for free online games of all sorts, they usually have a really good selection. (Although the pop-ups on the site are quite annoying)

Technically Chamber of Chat is a Chat, not a game. but there is games in it. therefor I agree with jeff, that Chamber of Chat would outrule the others

Well around the time CoS came out warner brothers were spreading rumors about them making a Harry Potter mmorpg

I don't play online games much but I really enjoyed the Crimson Room, or whatever it was called (and the sequels). I'll have to hunt that down again.

edited to change the name to Crimson Room, as Red Room was something entirely different!

I enjoy word games, so Text Twist and Bookworm are two of my favorite free online games. I also like Ouba: the Great Journey(it's not very sophisticated, I know, but I get a kick out of the little voices saying "Whee!" or "See you later!")

I recently just discovered a new cool online website called onemorelevel, it's got
some decent games and I defintely recommend them. One of them is a game in which you
create your own course to ride with a bike.

I like playing online games. The ones I play most are:

chess @ games.yahoo.com
cities & knights @ http://www.xplorers.nl
many simple games @ newgrounds.com

The fun part about chess and cities is that each game you play is different.

Unfortuantly, Runescape is up there for me... it's SO addicting. I also like to play Flash games on Kongregate. Its got all the regular ones, and you can get badges for achivements and earn points. Yay Points!

This topic i think was meant for MMORPGS not for online games. Because there are loads of flash games u can play usually for free. Runescape isnt that good of a game. 3 reasons: Horrible Graphics, The engine isn't that good and the community is horrible(in my opinion).
