I don't know if this has ever been covered and if it has I apologies now.

I have all of the books on CD but my Cd's are starting to get pretty shabby. So I was thinking of getting the MP3 version of the books. So my question is has anyone bought them from iTunes and used them on a non-ipod mp3 player? I am one of I think only 3 people in the world that chose not to get an iPod.

And also has anyone heard why iTunes isn't offering Deathly Hallows?

Thanks in advance,

KL

You could always rip them to your computer. Windows Media rips files as mp3's. That way, you'll have the files safe, and open to do whatever you like with them. (Except please don't put them on the 'net.) It takes a while to go through all the cd's but it's totally worth it.

You can't transfer iTunes purchases to anything else, because of the DRM protection on them. That's the catch, and why I don't buy audiobooks there. You're spending $50 on something you can't do a lot with.

Thanks

My original problem is that some of my Cd's have been used or transported around until they are beyond use.

But that answers my question, now I know that I should reinvest in the Cd's rather then buying the MP3 version from iTunes.

And no I don't intend on putting them on the net this is strictly for private use by ME!!!

I am so addicted to these books on CD that every night I put a different disk on my cd player and put it on repeat so if I wakeup sleep.gif at some point in the night there's Harry! blush.gif I know I'm addicted but which one of us out there isn't equally Potter Crazy tongue.gif
