What Happend to Kreacher?, after the battle in DH |

we never find out (or not that Im aware of) what happens to Kreacher after the Battle in DH. unless I am missing something.
Did he die? Did he go on to work at Hogwarts till he died? Did Harry take him home with him? Did Harry have him go and work for the Weasleys? Did he go back to Grimwald PLace alone? I mean I know that he actually started to like Harry and Ron and Hermoine in DH but after the battle was done and over with what happend to him? Im sorry if this question has already been breached and answered. please if it has send me in the right direction. --------------------  Guys like Edward ARE out there. I think he went back to 12GP after the battle, he was a House Elf and that was his house. But then again I also think Harry, Ginny and the kids lived at #12 - after a lot of fixing and cleaning.

I always thought If Harry decided to live some where else to raise is family, number 12 could become a museum and Kreacher could be the Tour Guide/Caretaker.

Well beingn that he is 17 there is no point in harry going back to Little Whinging so I always thought of him going to live in Grimmauld place. I thinkthat Harry kept Kreacher but Hermione twisted his arm to not let him do everything due to his old age.
I also like to think of the 5 Potters living there, with plenty of room for visitors.

 i always hoped that kreacher would be harrys loyal servent for ever never talking back to him.  But i think it would be cool with the tour guide for number 12 house  they all talk happily at the musem. THE END

I figure he stayed on at Hogwarts, freeloading it as he had done at #12G. I never trusted his sudden change into Kreacher the happy chef. He laughed when he found out his act had helped to kill Sirius - that is the kind of elf he was. Hopefully he found remorse for his horrible attitude or whithered away a disgruntled, misguided elf.

Cool thread here!
I think Kreacher found love in Hogwarts' kitchen and went back with her to GP12 and settled down with little mini-Kreachers all around him! GP12 became an Elf family house! and the adult Elfs went to Hogwarts to help on big occassions and to hang out with Elf friends! -------------------- |

I, personally, see him staying at Hogwarts. I can't see Harry and Ginny settling down in 12GP so I can't see Kreacher going back there either as it seems quite a sad, lonely end for him. -------------------- |

I think Kreacher stayed at Hogwarts and I doubt that Harry and Ginny had a house-elf. The only house-elf that Harry would even consider was Dobby and he would only let Dobby stay at their home as a free-elf anyway.
