Where do you think Harry and Ginny decide to live? Do they go to Grimmuald place and make it a much cleaner place to live? Or do they rebuild Harry's parent's place or leave it as a memorial to the war and lost loved ones?

He knows the fact that it is where is parents died but there is no negative emotional connection to the place.

So you don't think Harry knowing his parents were murdered and where he was almost murdered himself wouldn't cause some negative emotions? I don't know but I think most people would not want to live where their parents were murdered.

I must say, Grimmauld Place. It is in Harry's hands now, and Kreacher is in his responsibility. he inherited it from Sirius, probably the last family he's seen in his life. Ginny wouldn't mind.

I also disagree with Grimmauld Place. It's a miserable home, it's dark, there's those stupid paintings on the wall and it's the last place Sirius lived. He was miserable there and I don't think Harry would want to spend much time there except to make sure everything was in order. Really it's like Godric's Hallow, there's to much history there for Harry to WANT to live there.

Personally I see Harry living by the ocean like Bill or perhaps he'll have a place by the countryside.

But Grimmauld Place changed when Harry gave Kreature the locket, it became very much like home. Why would that stop? Harry could always have the "dark stuff" removed as well as the paintings. He might move out later when they need more room, but right after the battle at Hogwarts i see Harry and Ginny living there.

i agree with Sixx Guns here. Grimmauld Place holds too much bad memories for Harry and no matter how much it became a real home after the battle or even after Kreacher made it one, it's still the memories that would haunt him. and memories are pretty much hard to drive out or forget no matter how pleasant the place would be. if i'm not mistaken, even though kreacher made it "homey", i believe the "dark stuff" such as the paintings won't be removed that easily, or it may never be removed at all because of a spell that was cast upon it to ensure that no one won't be able to remove it. because come to think of it, if you think that could be done, Sirius would be the first one to have done that especially when he lived there after he escaped from Azkhaban.
