Crap voice acting? Check.

Graphics that belong in the last console generation? Check.

Near-constant duels that basically break down into knocking your opponent down with Expelliarmus or Levicorpus and then Stupefy / fireball-ing the ever-loving crap out of them while they're out of it? Check.

Ridiculously huge area to 'explore' that gives the illusion of being a sandbox game while providing no real incentives to explore or do anything else while simultaneously making it impossible to find your way around on your own? Check.

Fatally stupid Quidditch mini-game? Oh gods yes Check.

Seriously, the potions were the only part of this game that was any fun at all. You're going to find yourself almost always calling on Nearly Headless Nick to guide you to various locations, it's nearly always going to take ages to get there, and it will almost never be worth it. And, inevitably, the next 'mission' will almost always be clear on the other end of the available game area.

Avoid this thing. Really.

I am planning on getting this game at some point in the near future, whether people recommend it or not, as I have bought, rented or played all the HP games. I wonder what way DH will be? Part 1 released first, then part two? Or Part 1 and 2 on one disc? huh.gif huh.gif huh.gif
