I was thinking, after seeing the advert for the Indiana Jones one, how about them coming out with a Harry Potter lego video game. There's been one for Star Wars (there's been 2 infact!) now Indiana Jones, and I know there is a Batman one coming out. So how about them making a Harry Potter one? I would love to see it biggrin.gif Though prob after DH has been made and released. Just imagine all 7, or should I say 8 films tongue.gif come out, they bring out a lego video game with all 7 films in it. Just picture Harry getting past all 7 trials from PS. Harry fighting Slytherins monster from CoS. Harry fending of Dementors in PoA. Harry in the Triwizard tournament in GoF. Harry & Co battle in the Ministry in OotP. Harry & Dumbledore in the cave in HBP, and Harry hunting Horcruxes and defeating Voldemort in DH, and it will all be in lego format!! lol.gif I'm just picturing lego Snape right now lol.gif So what do you think? Should they make one?

Yeah, that'd be cool. I was never really into lego as a kid but i still really like this idea, I think playing lego on the computer seems really wacky, but in a good way tongue.gif I'd love to have a video game with elements from all seven stories, they might have to be selective as to what they included though ponder.gif

Yeah, the lego games are always meant to be light hearted. I think there is plenty in HP, for them to run with biggrin.gif I think it be great playing as lego Harry being chased on his broomstick by a lego Horntail lol.gif

Well whats your arguement against there being Harry Potter video games? Is it simply you don't like video games? Or you don't like seeing Harry Potter being licenced as a game?

I think that it's a brilliant idea!!!!!! My son eats, sleeps and breathes Stars Wars Lego and that is what got him interested in the movies and any Star Wars books that he can find. To get a whole new generation of fans because they like a Harry Potter Lego game can only be a good thing. The cuteness of the Lego characters and the fact that they just fall to pieces when you "kill" them is a much nicer introduction to Harry via the more teenage friendly video games.

Yes, yes, YES!! Excuse my enthusiasm, but YES! They HAVE to make it! I'm a Star Wars and Lego freak and when they fused those two elements into a form of a video game it was a dream come true! tongue.gif Lego Indy comes out next week so I've been thinking about it all week, and there's also a Lego Batman coming soon too! So I think it's only time that they make Lego Harry Potter! But yes, I suppose they'd probably wait till the DH comes out, unless they split it into the two games with HP 1-4 and then HP 5-7part1+7part2! Then they could get to work on it straight away! I just can't wait! biggrin.gif They just have to make it!

Yeah you can never be too old, or too young, for lego tongue.gif I'm just picturing what the characters would look like as lego lol.gif

oh none of them- i have nothing against harry potter games- i own some in fact but i think that one for each film on 4 or more different platforms each with there own differences, and the lego harry potter game that is already available is more than enough.

Ok then wink.gif But I disagree, as the games keep getting better, the more I want to see them lol.gif And I think a LEGO version of all 7 films (in one game, that is) would be the icing on the cake biggrin.gif

I would love this game, I've got the Star Wars ones and getting the Indy one. The games are so much fun and funny. I collect the Potter Lego so this would be great as part of the collection.
I did try the one for your pc but didn't think it was much good it was mainly target for youngsters.

LEGO HARRY POTTER THE VIDEO GAME would be AMAZING!!!!!!!! The sets are amazing already, so the game of course like you said icing on the cake!!! I hope though that lego still does the Harry Potter line. What with only one set for OotP, I hope that they continue with the products. The game would be reallllllllllllllly coooooool!!!!!!!!!!!

that would be hillarious. Can you imagine "bombarda"-ing a wall and legos flying everywhere? lol!
I can't seem them focusing too much on creating the world in lego, though (which would be a disappointment), but a digest of action from the 7 in total, with little blocks zooming everywhere on their own accord would make it worth the cash, anyways

Hahaha, the mental image I got after that. Can you imagine our favorite boy wizard going all "It's-a me, Harry!" lol.gif

I really really hope they do a Harry Potter LEGO game. It would be brick-loads of fun! (shame on me for making such a terrible pun)

Hey guys, you've all got to help me get this idea to game producers.

They should create a RPG Harry Potter game but not based on the character Harry Potter, but instead based on a character you create. Your character learns spells, go's through Hogwarts and you have multiple endings to the game, kind of like the Star Wars PC games. I think it would be hugely popular if a game like this came out on PC or something.

Please guys, spread this idea, it would be a great game. biggrin.gif

Sounds fun but I have to add in that there should be a Wii version. It wouldn't even need to be a groundbreaking game, just a standard RPG with good looking graphics of the various HP locations would be awesome.

As for the lego HP game; legos, Harry Potter, and video games are three of my favorite things. I would buy it.
