Tonight on October Road. Ronnie went on a rant about how he's dealing with a lot emotionally ending with "and there's no more Harry Potter books!"

This is the first time I've heard mention of our favorite cultural phenomenon in another film. Has anybody noticed any others? Yes, lots of times!

On House MD (season 5, episode 17):
Kutner: "I agree with Wilson, this guy is Harry Potter. The sorting Hat was gonna put Harry in Slytherin, based on his nature he refused, so he ended up in Gryffindor. Through choice." -------------------- Could you take my picture?

There was a reference to Voldemort is season three, but I can't remember what epi. I think it had something to do with detective Tritter.... |

Hannah Montana - i've only seen this show a few times and it's mentioned HP a surprising amount. Once when Hannah's best friend fancies her(Hannah's) brother and is all smitten when she sees him with a puppy to which Hannah says "Oh come on, Lord Voldemort would look cute with a puppy" and then on another occasion she said that she'd attended school in England and when asked where answered "Hogwarts!" I saw this episode too! It always bothered me beause I thought Jo said once that its in Scotland Also, in Wizards of Waverly Place on Disney Channel there's an episode where they go to a wizard school (and the building is a castle |

Tonight's "Jeopardy" had the question(answer) in the category "Comparative Lit"
"This fifth Harry Potter book is the longest in the series!" Of course, I screamed the response at my television! Also, I seem to remember that there was a category in "Kid's" Jeopardy "Harry Potter." A long time ago, and I remember the questions were simple. If you had seen the movies you could have gotten them. -------------------- |

Also in Hannah Montana (i watch that show embarrasingly frequently) the brother is applying to a good college and the dad says something along the lines of "the only way hes getting in there is with Harry Potter's Cloak of Invisibility" I totally Squeed at this mention and the ones above. Tonight's "Jeopardy" had the question(answer) in the category "Comparative Lit" "This fifth Harry Potter book is the longest in the series!" Of course, I screamed the response at my television! Also, I seem to remember that there was a category in "Kid's" Jeopardy "Harry Potter." A long time ago, and I remember the questions were simple. If you had seen the movies you could have gotten them. I literally only watch Jeopardy for questions like that. Once there was a category like "Words used in Harry Potter titles" -------------------- |
