Many parents may feel ill at ease with allowing their child to read the Harry Potter series, and with many religious figures coming out against the books, who can really blame them?

This thread is all about giving a concerned parent a bit more information into the books with regards to what other parents have experienced with regards to their children reading the books. Feel free to discuss how these books have affected your child (for good or ill.)

If you are a concenrd parent, feel free to post questions here with regards to this topic as well, and we will be happy to address them as best we can.
