I also trust Snape because Dumbledore did. Snape still has his life debt to James to expiate, and I think that he will sacrifice himself for Harry to pay this debt. I think that he cared for Lily although he wasn't necessarily in love with her. They could just have been friends that respected each others intelligence from working together in potions class. I also think that killing Dumbledore is eating him alive, no matter if it is the choice that Dumbledore wanted. So, these are the reasons that I think that Snape will die in this book.
