Jeff I really like the first sig's cropping and coloring! The only thing about the first one is that the text kind of runs into each other a bit (vertically) such as the end of "solemnly" running into the "I am". Maybe if you moved up the first line of text it would be more centered on the icon and (in my opion) look better.
(I'm very picky about my text though so it my just be me being weird  )I love the second icon background! I'm horrible at text only icons and you made it look really cool. Kendra, I love that signature you made with all the characters! Very cool. I also like the sort of feel there is on that plain picture of draco.
