Okay, it's kinda impossible for JKR to write a new H.P 8th book. since she clearly said that the D.H. is her last H.P book.
But if she can, what kind of story would you like her to make and title? -------------------- "i never gave up on you Harry"

I think it would be about the next generation starting at the time of the epilogue.
-------------------- "Harry now saw red hair flying like flames in front of him: Ginny was locked in combat ..."

I would just die for a retelling of the series from Snape's POV. Severus Snape and the Irksome Little Fly Who Lived, perhaps.
Except, the book would start with Snape's childhood, and would chronicle his Hogwarts days, and his DE days, as well as retelling the series from his eyes. |

While I am as nuts about Harry as everyone else here I would love to read something totally new and different from JKR. Except for the Scottish book - that's a must have. I really enjoy her writing style and story telling and I believe she will always put out interesting books although following HP might be a little scary.

I'd love The Marauders and the Year of the Map
-------------------- 'You haven't got a letter on yours,' George observed. 'I suppose she thinks you don't forget your name. But we're not stupid — we know we're called Gred and Forge. (PS, p. 149)
"HAVE YOU GONE MAD?" Ron bellowed. "ARE YOU A WITCH OR NOT?" (PS) |

I think re-writing the series from Snapes Point of view is a great idea, after all Snape ended up being such a huge factor in the series and it was such a twist. But now we know what we do, it would be intriguing to know the rest.
I also think there would be alot to be said in a next generation type book. Possibly written with a focus on Teddy, who's taken on the role of the orphan now. Whilst it might seem repetivtive, with the right plot, and the inclusion of the rest of the second generation it could be pretty interesting. -------------------- ~MagicCast1367

Hehe. Harry Potter Jumps the Shark.
Naah.. I had an idea where magic started running low because of a huge apocalypse coming. Of course Harry and Co. stop it, but magic is gone afterwards and the magic race has to learn how to live as muggles. -------------------- ![]() |

How about "Albus Severus: The next Hogwarts Generation" ?
Or : "The Forbidden Romance of Rose and Scorpius" ? -------------------- "And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure."
