That's hilarious.. lol

I haven't thought of it yet.. But I just remembered one title given by a good friend of mine, who also happen to be a huge HP fan/lover.. She gave me the title: Harry Potter and the Long-Lost Wife. (My friend is "the long lost wife." haha)

Perhaps something about what happened to Albus Severus in his Hogwarts years.. Or about other characters in the series whom were mentioned quite frequently but didn't have so much of a role.. Like a spinoff, you know. wink.gif

Ok here goes. I am very conflicted about the idea of another hp book. On the one hand, to wait in line again at midnight for a book that brings the kind of excitement only hp can and to have no clue as to what lies ahead (Like everyone else I've read the previous 7 umpteen times)would be incredible, however, save for the people who want to know every little detail (the name of Harry's cousins 2nd dog) I believe the series ended perfectly or almost and to extend upon it would be very anti-climactic. However, something that I feel would be both safe and entertaining would be to do this; Write the mother of all prequels entitled Merlin (for the header) and underneath (and the four founders)a book that could explain the origins of magic from jk's point of view leading all the way up to the founding of hogwarts. So here it is

MERLIN
and
the FOUR FOUNDERS

Just to expand on my last post, imagine the questions that could be answered, for example;

1. The original evil wizard? (Surname Riddle perhaps?)

2. Where did hippogriffs come from? (Spell gone bad between horse and eagle?)

3. Original wand? (Elder perhaps)

lolabove.gif lol. good one!

Maybe Harry Potter and the story for the people who wants another book, and then when it's over they'll ask for another book about Harry still, even if he's over a hundred years old already.

(That includes me. sad.gif Don't flame me.)
But actually, I prefer a book about the younger Potters.

Harry Potter & They all lived happily ever after.

I'd love to see more from JKR, and i hope i do, but i doubt i'll see any more HP, sadly.
Cheers

I think a prequel would be a great idea! We could have Merlin and lots of wonderful new characters! I had really wanted a second series with the next generation, but maybe that could be sometime in the future. I certainly would like to see JKR write a series about something in the fantasy world badger.gif

Exactly. And it could also be a series of books because it would all lead up to the first hp book but it would be ceturies in the past. So many questions could be answered. And you know that jkr had several ideas that never made it into the potter books and this way it doesn't "water-down" the rest of the series, plus keeps people hungry for more potter satisfied. Heck she can use my title if she wants. lol
