This has been one busy week for Leaky! First they are living it up at Lumos, and now it's onto the Big Apple and our heroine herself, Ms Jo Rowling
 !Naturally we already have images in our Galleries! Here you will find images from the press conference and here you will find images of Jo outside Radio City Music Hall meeting Leaky staffer mlwl  . Images of Jo reading from HBP can now be seen here in our Gallery.
Just seeing her looking stunning on that throne is just..so...please excuse me whilst I channel Sue! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee................... When I saw mlwl's picture, i just totally melted because it is such a cool picture. If she is the one with her hand over her mouth like she is in utter shock, then that is my favorite picture in the whole of the galleries.

That was such a magical night! Looking at the pictures reminds me of the fun and drama my best friend and I had that night. Our train broke down on the way to NYC so we missed the very begining and a little bit of Stephen King's reading but we did make it!

 Fantastic news! As mentioned on Leaky Main Jo Rowling has produced an exclusively-limited edition of The Tales of Beedle the Bard. These "fairy tales" featured heavily in the final Potter book, and Jo completed a mere seven copies, six of which are to be given privately to a select few. The seventh will be auctioned off for charity, specifically to benefit the Children's Voice group. QUOTE The Children's Voice charity (formerly Children’s High Level Group (CHLG)) aims to stamp out cruelty, neglect and abuse of young people, especially in Eastern Europe. There is a video of Jo discussing this here in the TLC Video Gallery, and screencaps of that video are now in the Image Gallery! Here are a few of those amazing images from the book -- The catalogue from the auction which will contain images from the book is available to preorder, as mentioned in the Leaky News article.

I really want that one auctioned one but I can't give up college for that. I really hope Scholastic will make them into what they did for Fantastic Beasts and Quidditch Through the Ages. That way, the person who gets the actual book right now could be proud in having the one Jo actually wrote- literally, with ink onto paper.
