And it's update time again for the TLC Image Galleries! woohoo.gif

Some lovely new pix of Jo Rowling have been added from the 2008 British Book Awards.

Fascinating aerial shots of the HP film sets at Leavesden Studios can be mulled over here. Plus, product tie-ins for HBP will include yarn, with cool HP skein wrappers.

Many HP film actors' albums have been expanded --
Emma Watson did a birthday video for her website, and the screencaps are here.

More Twilight images featuring Robert Pattinson here and here. Promotional images and the film's poster can be found here in the Galleries.

The secondary actors are also getting more images added, including Tony Maudsley (Grawp), Adrian Rawlins (James Potter), Robert Hardy (Cornelius Fudge), David Thewlis (Remus Lupin), and Julie Walters (Molly Weasley.)

Lots of new HP products were featured at the New York Comic Con including some great character figures!

As construction continues in Orlando, FL, for the Harry Potter Theme Park, we now have more images of that on-going work.

And, finally, cool new avatars made by LL forum members have been added.

Remember if you have an HP-related image you think should be added to our Image Galleries, please e-mail them to
images@the-leaky-cauldron.org

I smell HBP images coming soon! hbp.gif

Aanndd here's the latest image news for the TLC Image Gallery. reporter.gif

The biggest news, imagewise, was the release of the first official teaser trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. excited.gif We have a full set of hi-rez screencaps as well as new promotional images, both official and strictly unofficial.

Lots of new HBP product images have appeared, which I gather will most likely see their release bumped back with the move of the film's debut. Some of the most exciting are screencaps from the upcoming videogame.

On the book front, JK Rowling announced that The Tales of Beedle the Bard would be released in several editions for charity, available this coming December. woohoo.gif New images for these books can be found here in the Galleries.

Other image news --
In New York for the Broadway debut of the West End revival of Equus, Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths squeezed in a little time for new publicty shots, including a stunning photo by the famed photographer Annie Leibovitz for Vogue Magazine.

In a new fashion spread for Harper's Bazaar, Emma Watson revealed her unique and somewhat retro fashion preferences.

Robert Pattinson continues his high-profile apperances in support of the new Twilight film, now opening in the vacated HBP spot, November 21.

Appearing at the premiere for his new mega-hit Batman: The Dark Knight, Gary Oldman was more than happy to pose for the red carpet paparazzi in New York.

Speaking of TDK, many of the HP film stars showed up to the London premiere and made their own fashion statements. Most notably there were Tom Felton, Evanna Lynch, Jessie Cave and the Phelps twins.

Alan Rickman made the publicity circuit for his new film, Bottle Shock.

Although he had a relatively small part in GoF, David Tennant is a huge star though his work on the Dr. Who sci-fi television show. We have added to our massive collection of Who images including screen caps and promotional images from seasons three and four.

Clemence Poesy, who portrayed Fleur de la Couer has been very busy, and we have added loads of new images to her Gallery album.

The anticipation for the opening of the Potter theme park in Orlando, Florida was amped-up a notch with the release of more concept art for the project. The park is due to open in late 2009.

The Leaky Galleries image Icontest is continuing with some great new avatars being made by the Leaky Loungers. The winning entries may be found here.

With Pottercast running its summer tour again this year, we have fan pictures from Boston, New York, Pittsburgh, and San Diego.

Again I would like to thank our amazing image gatherers and uploaders for a stunning job! If you have any HP related images that you feel should be added to our Galleries, please send them along (preferably as an attachment rather than a link) with details of what they are, when and where they were taken, and send them to:

Update time for the Leaky Image Galleries!

Now that the release of the film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been moved back to July of 2009, we have gotten bunches of new Unoffcial images from HBP calendars, cards and other goodies. In addition we have received scads of screen-caps for the HBP videogame which release has also been bumped to next year, here.

The main trio from the Potter films have been making the rounds, and thus new pictures have been added to their albums. Chiefly, with the Broadway opening of Equus, Dan Radcliffe's gallery is growing daily. Emma Watson made some pretty high-profile appearances as she continues her modelling career. See all her great pictures here. And last but by no means least, Rupert Grint is busy with new films, such as Cherry Bomb and Wild Target, and we have the images to prove it! tongue.gif

Many other actors from the Potter films have seen additions to their albums, including David Tennant, future vampire Robert Pattinson, and Ralph Fiennes, as well as John Cleese, Michael Gambon, and Tom Felton. Both Jason Isaacs and David Thewlis have new films opening soon, so check out the new images in their albums. drool.gif

In addition to the HBP videogame mentioned above, there are other new products flooding the shelves for the holidays, and flooding the Galleries inbox too. type.gif We also got exciting new construction shots for the HP theme park that is now set to open in 2010.

In celebration of the tenth anniversary of the US release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone there was an awesome event/party held at the Scholastic Store in NYC, and there are lovely images from the event here in the Galleries. We also have images of the new anniversary book covers in the Galleries, here. AND, if that weren't enough, we got some fun new images of JK Rowling (here) and the UK audio-book narrator, the incomparable Stephen Fry , here.

In addition to our regular batches of fan-made avatars and Tagline avatars (by yours truly smile.gif ) we also have the Icontest winners up in the Galleries.

Image Gallery news update time! reporter.gif

Of course, the biggest news is the release of Jo Rowling's latest charity book, The Tales of Beedle the Bard! woohoo.gif There are both old and new images of the book and the events surrounding it's release in the Gallery. read.gif

An exposition of the art of US HP book artist Mary Grand Pre featured many facinating "alternate" book covers and rough sketches of her chapter and calendar art. Check it out here in the Galleries. artist.gif

We continue to get images, both official and un-, for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film. Screencaps for the second (International) trailer may be found here, as well as for the latest theatrical trailer, the latter in beautiful hi-resolution!

The main trio have also been busy with films and appearances. Here are the latest gadabouts by Dan Radcliffe. Emma Watson has been seen at many events, most recently at the Los Angeles premiere for The Tale of Despereaux, in which she voices the princess in this animated holiday film. Rupert Grint's upcoming film Cherry Bomb has been generating some buzz, and the attendant images.

Other HP actors making the rounds include Jason Isaacs, promoting his new film Good, David Thewlis with The Boy in Striped Pyjamas, and Robert Pattinson making the fangirls squeal with Twilight. The latter has been super-busy on the promotional circuit, amping-up the interest in his sparkly-vampire flick. lol.gif My favourite, Gary Oldman has a new horror flick due out shortly, The Unborn. Alan Rickman's new film, Nobel Son finally opened this week. And last, but by no means least, the amazing Ralph Fiennes also has a new film, The Reader.

Here at Leaky we continue to add our Image Gallery Icontest winners to the Gallery, here. Lots of fun costumes were offered up in our latest costume contest. Also, be sure to check out the new HBP product images, here.

As always, if you have HP images you think we should add to the gallery, please send them to:

It's time for the Image Gallery news update time! type.gif

We are in the middle of award season now and many of the HP actors and crew have been seen out and about at the ceremonies. In January Alfonso Cuaron attended the Sundance Film Festival. At the Screen Actors Guild Awards Ralph Fiennes was presenting an award and Gary Oldman picked up the gong for Best Supporting Actor for the late Heath Ledger. The Orange British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) were held on 8 February and several actors were seen there including Emma Watson and Jason Isaacs who presented awards, and Brendan Gleeson who collected the award for Original Screenplay for In Bruges in place of Martin McDonagh. Brendan Gleeson also attended the Irish Film and Televsion Awards for which In Bruges won best International Film. At the Academy Awards Robert Pattinson introduced a special feature on Romance in films of the past year.

The actors have been doing the rounds promoting their films. Rupert Grint was at the Berlin International Film Festival to attend the screening for his forthcoming film Cherrybomb. Ralph Fiennes was also there for his film The Reader; images of which can be seen here. There are now some screencaps of Tom Felton's new film The Disappeared. While Gary Oldman is starring in The Unborn. The trailer screencaps for Robert Pattinson's film about the life of Salvador Dali, Little Ashes can be found here. Also Kenneth Branagh was at both the New York and Los Angeles premieres for his new movie Valkyrie.

Jo Rowling herself was awarded the prestigious French Legion of Honour from President Nicholas Sarkozy on 3 February in recognition of “a woman of exceptional talent” who had returned a taste for reading back to children. clap2.gif

There are many more images of the construction of the HP Theme Park in Orlando, Florida here and here.

It's been photo shoots and magazine articles galore recently for many HP actors including Evanna Lynch for Katrin Thomas, Rupert Grint for "Blag" magazine, and Emma Watson for the Daily Mail, "Vs." magazine, the Sunday Times, and "Flare" magazine.

Our galleries are constantly being updated with images and scans for the forthcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie, including some from "Cinelive" and "Empire" magazines, new studio and posed shots of the teenage Tom Riddle, Frank Dillane. Screencaps for the Japanese trailer can be found here, the first official posters have been released, and caps for the MTV Set Visit Teaser can be viewed here.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has now commenced filming and images are beginning to trickle in. woohoo.gif There are shots of a new set being built at Pinewood Studios, possibly for the village of Godric's Hollow. Also Steffan Rhodri has been cast as Minstry worker Reg Cattermole.

Be sure to check out new product images from the New York Comic Con and Toy Fair.

As always I would like to thank our amazing image gatherers and uploaders for an awesome job!
