I often times find myself with great contacts. I have found an amazing glass blower who has agreed to help me with this project. Using screen caps, we've gotten a very good idea as to the measurements of the vials. The hard part is that they are all ever so slightly different.
But, in a week to two weeks from now, I should have a memory vial to compare. If that vial looks good (and I have no doubt that it will), I am going to try and reproduce several of them. Eventually I want to build that memory cabinet. I think it was one of the most stunning props from the film. That, and I am a glutton for punishment. This is going to be a long project, I'm sure! I next need to find a master carpenter! Chris |

I talked to the glass artist, and I hope to have pictures this week or maybe next. If the first looks good, I'll be placing an order for more.

I got the vial! Let me know what you think.
![]() If that doesn't work, go here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/chrisdotson/4353017950/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/chrisdotson/4352271777/ What do you think of the vial? The "memory" piece of it aside. I think it's pretty close to what was on screen. |

In fact, AMAZING doesn't even start to cover it! I don't even think there's a word strong enough in the dictionary for this... I'm speechless!!!

That is fantastic.
What a great idea, I hope you can create your memory cabinate and take many, many pics of it for us to squee over. |

I've not started on the cabinet, but I did get several more vials made. OMG these things are so cool!
