i am writing a story and am trying to think of a good name for the ancient, mystical item that can only be held or wielded by those pure of heart and with a most benevolent mind. It is very magical and capable of doing amazing and good things for the world. It is very effective against evil objects and evil in the hearts of others. The evil mage(main bad guy[haven't thought of a name for him, yet, either]) in the story doesn't know this and is seeking it in hopes that it will help him rule the world. He only knows that it contains phenominal magic and makes the wielder very powerful.

I noticed a thread popping up about needing help naming an object, and even though I know I probably have no authority to do this, I thought I'd make a thread for all name help requests, as a little writers-helping-writers service thing, to cut down on individual threads for every name.
Basically, if you are stuck on a name for a character, place, object, spell, machine, profession, or anything else, post your request here, and your fellow writers will come to the rescue and help you think of one! (Like I said above, if this is not a good idea/not allowed/against the rules/plain stupid/not within my rights to post, I would kindly request that a moderator remove it ASAP.  )

Perhaps the name could be of legend so that people would all know that when others said "the sceptor" (or whatever object it is) that they would be talking about the item mentioned above.

For the item name I think it should be really great. Something to remember... like the "_____ of Gradalite or Sangradalis" Not a wand. Maybe a gem, or sceptor, or article of clothing. What do you guys think?
