Dear little (well, not so little anymore) Neville. The poor kid who couldn't seem to be able to do anything right and questioned for many years if he was even a wizard. Yet Neville is not truly lacking in courage, standing up against his friends to keep them from doing what he thought was wrong, facing off with a Boggart which took the form of rude, intimidating Professor Snape. Neville, who learned the fastest in the DA when the DEs who tortured his parents escaped from Azkaban. Neville, who didn't go screaming into the night when he had to face them. Neville, who stood staunchly with Harry against the DEs in the Death Room at the MoM (I love the line, "He's dot alone!" shouted a voice from above them. "He's still god be!"). Neville, who fought DEs when they invaded Hogwarts.
Can I just say that I really like this guy? I think we will yet see great things from him in DH. What do you think? What has Jo got in store for him? Click here for Part 1. -------------------- "That's why he fought. That's why he lived again, and that was the answer to Tam's question. I fight because last time, I failed. I fight because I want to fix what I did wrong. I want to do it right this time" -- Rand |
