One amazing aspect of the "end" of Harry's tale, is the plethora of new fan art that has appeared, sparked by the Epilogue of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. And, since there isn't any pesky post-DH canon to get in the way, the artists have let their imaginations run wild!
 Which of the next generation characters are your favourite to see or draw? Miss_Ida gives us a straight-forward vision of Uncle Harry regaling the next generation ("Next Gen") of young Marauders and mischief-makers with his tales of basilisks and dragons --

It's kinda sad when I look at my front page here on the galleries, and all bar two on my first page are Next-Gen, LOL XD
I know that I became obsessed with Teddy because Remus and Tonks were my two favourite characters, and when they died, I kinda just clung to Teddy like a life-raft (no pun intended, lol). It started as a coping mechanism, and evolved into an absolute love for the character, even though we've never even heard him speak, haha  Teddy just has SO much potential. Not only does he have the whole Metamorphagus thing going on (so you can draw him however you want), he's also the son of two of the most bad-arse characters in the entire series, so you know he's gonna be brilliant  And go Scorrow (Scorpius/Rose)!! LOL. The concept is just too delicious to pass up! Ron vs. Draco, Arthur vs. Lucius, the whole Romeo + Juliet ("A rose by any other name..." - "Parting is such sweet s[c]orrow..." LOLOL) Plus, Ron even foreshadowed it with, "Don't get too friendly with him" LOL. THE IRONY IS TOO AWESOME XDDDDPeace, Rotae -------------------- Nothing, that is worth having in this world, comes easy.  |

Thank you for the compliment! I must confess both that the reason for my proliferation is that I'm currently making my living doing HP fanart commissions, and that what's on here isn't the half of what I've done...literally, there are twice as many images on my Deviantart page, though several of them are rather grown-up...I know you're a mod, Hagiographer, so if there are any pieces there that aren't here and you think would be appropriate to post, please feel free to drop me a PM and let me know, would you? Of course, that also means if anyone wants anything from me, I'd be more than happy to oblige! In the mean time, though, here are some other Next Gen things, all three Teddy Lupin: One portrait, and two Teddy/James.

Another FanArtist who has whole-heartedly embraced "next-gen" HP fan art is Featured FanArtist dhesia --
Her vision of Scorpius, Rose and Albus-Severus sees them as the "new trio", an interesting prospect indeed.

Although Albus Severus is leading the pack, many fans like to see (and/or draw) Teddy Lupin as well. I think it's the hair, frankly!

Got bored, drew the entire next Gen. Weasley Family. Minus Percy's wife and Mollly/Arthur merely because I ran out of room on the paper. Enjoy.
