One amazing aspect of the "end" of Harry's tale, is the plethora of new fan art that has appeared, sparked by the Epilogue of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. And, since there isn't any pesky post-DH canon to get in the way, the artists have let their imaginations run wild!
Miss_Ida gives us a straight-forward vision of Uncle Harry regaling the next generation ("Next Gen") of young Marauders and mischief-makers with his tales of basilisks and dragons --
As a Metamorphmagus, and the oldest of the next gen characters, Teddy Lupin seems to have a special place in the hearts of the fan artists, with over 40 versions of him in the TLC FanArt Gallery! Here is a view of him by Australian artist Rotae --
For whatever reason, a popular post-DH pairing is Rose Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy. Here are the two of them having a quiet moment on the Hogwarts Express, as envisioned by Featured FanArtist mary-dreams --
Take a look in the Fan Art Gallery and see all the "Next Gen" art. You can search by the characters' name quite easily. This post has been edited by Hagiographer13: Jul 26 2008, 01:45 PM -------------------- |

Yeah, my dad tells great stories, I really like the one about outflying the Hungarian Horntail, dragons are sooooo cool.
Teddy is great fun especially when he changes so that he looks like Albus or me, Uncle George really likes that, says it reminds him of when he and Uncle Fred used to play tricks on people as kids. ROSE???!! Wait till Uncle Ron sees that!! |

Rose with a Slytherin? *snort* Aunt Hermione will just say something about "interhouse unity" or something, Uncle Ron'll probably say she's mental |

Rose, you don't have to go snogging him everywhere, yuck, I don't want to see that.

Talking of snogging LoonyLucy has captured a wonderful snapshot of Teddy Lupin and Victoire Weasley in a romantic embrace at Platform 93/4 during the Epilogue.

I don't know why, but I find myself utterly charmed by the younger "next gen" fan art pieces. Maybe because we meet Harry and the gang later, this satisfies some long-buried maternal instinct I have to see cute kids and go all gah-gah over them!
Anyway, in this very fashion, the amazing Edua has this absolutely ADORABLE pic of the young Potter kids, and, yes, James Sirius IS wearing his jumper in-side-out! You can see the HUGE version of this image here in the TLC FanArt Gallery. -------------------- |
