We see a lot of collectibles on display in The Hobbit - ones that you want keep safe and ones that help you keep them safe, be it treasure or your life. biggrin.gif Treasure has always been something that thrills Mankind like nothing else. (and Dwarfkind and Elfkind and Hobbitkind and Dragonkind and ... you get the idea.) wink.gif Weapons of course, have a charm of their own.

So tell us :
  • Which of the magical and otherwise objects do you think was the most important in The Hobbit ?
  • If given just one choice, which one would you choose to have for yourself & why ?
  • What would you like to use that object for in daily life ?

I voted Gandalf's staff wand. I nearly voted Smaug's diamonds because this would make me very rich! The staff would be useful to do magic, which I would like to do, and it would be useful and fun because Gandalf uses it for protective spells, attacking enemies and making fireworks so I think it has many uses.
