OK, I think we have enough books listed to start a poll. We'll start reading this book on 4 October after we've read The Magician's Nephew and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. We'll keep this poll open until the end of this Book Club and announce the winner then and in the next Book Club.

I would love to have a excuse to read Emma by Jane Austen, plus I'm reading Pride and Predujice by her and so far I think Jane Austen in one of the best authors.

I think we have enough books listed to start a poll. We'll start reading this book on 4 October. I voted for Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfield. I really want to read this book and then see Emma Watson's film. Actually I'm not sure I can last until October... -------------------- |

Oh God, I'm stuck. Wuthering Heights is one of my all-time favourite books but so is The Catcher in the Rye. I'd also really like to read I Capture the Castle and Ballet Shoes, for nostalgic reasons.
I think I'll go for Ballet Shoes this time. -------------------- ![]() The signature pic is credit to theonlysong and given to me by Ioli. |

I go for Wuthering Heights--though to be honest, with the new school semester starting, I am not sure how much time I will have no matter what is chosen.

I picked Charlie and the Chocolate factory - at least I know this one

well, as I am a big Jane Austen fan, I vote for Emma.
*But Charlie and the Chocolate Factory would be satisfactory. -------------------- "It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."

I vote for Wuthering Heights since it has been years since I read it. But any of the Austen books would also fine by me.
