I'd have added this to Martok's thread but it's locked, but add me to those who really, really hate this sort of extraneous floating stuff. I'll be staying away from the Lounge until they're gone.
Some people find them fun, I know, but please for the next event include a way to turn them off. -------------------- Failure to try is the surest failure

You can get rid of the effects by turning off javascript in your web browser.

I've gone ahead and removed the eyes from the Lounge--now the only effects are the pumpkins and candles, and those will only show up on the main page of the Lounge and in forums, not in topics, the messenger, posting screens, etc., and only through midnight tonight EST.
I apologize for the craziness; I think Peeves did a bit *too* good of a job on us this year! I'll leave the thread by helyx open through Sunday night in case you guys want to continue the discussion --NickTLC |
