I always thought that Draco Malfoy was likely to end up with Pansy Parkinson...

But in 19 years later Draco Malfoy and Asteria Greengrass follows their first son (Scorpius) to the Hogwarts Express...

What are your theories on this matter... ?
What did Pansy Parkinson do after Hogwarts....?
Did Draco Malfoy change?

I imagine that Draco was too consumed with his missions for LV to have much concern for romance. He was spending all of his time running errands for the death eaters and worrying about the outcome to spend much time with her. I bet she was a high maintenance kind of girl and expected more than he could give her.

I think the whole Malfoy families attitude towards the trio and the order changed after Harry got rid of LV and saved Draco in the room of requirements..

I don't think Pansy loved Draco for what he was but just for his influence....After the final battle all death eaters and the Malfoys lost their influence.......So it is possible that she ditched him..

I think it's possible that Draco might have changed, or perhaps he was just never really into her in the first place. My main theory is that it was just like most teenage relationships and didn't last, leaving them to go off and find someone else. smile.gif

i think after the battle at Hogwarts, Draco was a greatly reduced, humbled man. Pansy wanted the blowhard Draco was all through school. Plus i am guessing they lost their money and prestige...

I like to think that it was two sided. Draco didn't want to be the same person that he was before, and couldn't really be that person anymore. Pansy wanted to continue being the pureblood princess, treating everybody like scum. So she didn't want the and improved Draco, and Draco didn't want her either.

It's also possible that Pansy died during the battle. We never hear either way.

Some of the Slytherin students did join DE's so that is actually a possibility that she died in the fight,,,
But I like your theory that Draco changed his attitude and opinion about blood purity. In the epilogue he nods towards the trio however we do not know if it's a friendly or unfriendly nod, This can be a sign of his change of attitude,

I think that it's a sort of "I may not like you personally, but we have similar ideas nod" Maybe HArry helped Draco get started again. The Malfoys probably lost everything after the war, so maybe Harry helped Draco get a job or something. I know that it's not really like Harry, but maybe he felt some kind of gratitude to the MAlfoys, because of Narcissa's lie. It was for her own benefit, but it still helped him.

I think, that like alot of girls who grow up with priviledge, she dumped him the moment his family lost everything...once the glory wears off, it's no longer desirable.

Or, like a few of you have said, she might have died at the battle...we just don't know for certain what happened to her. darkmark.gif
