I just recently got a big load of Adobe things in a package...so I've been making some sig banners, avies, ect. with Photoshop. I'm trying to make an animated one, with these two images I made:

but...I also kinda have no idea how!

If anyone can tell me anything (because the manual I have is really no help at all!)...I'd be quite thankful. smile.gif

Flash is...utterly confusing conf.gif

It depends on which version of PS you have..... if you got CS3 or CS4, ImageReady is no longer part of Photoshop. It is still possible to animate the images, however: just go to Window>Animate, and the animate menu will show up. It's pretty simple to figure it out from there =]

I currently have Adobe Photoshop CS2, have had it since November '07, and it's been working quite well for me. I've heard things about CS3, and how much better it is, but honestly, is it that much better? Does anyone have it? Do you guys think it is tremendously better than CS2? If it is, what features does it have that CS2 does not? I'd just like to get a heads-up before I consider buying it. dance.gif

I have CS3, and heart.gif it, except for the fact that it no longer has ImageReady, so animations can get a bit tricky. Some new features with CS3 are:

~new interface that dedicates more space to photo/graphic
~Quick Selection Tool-- i heart.gif this tool as well!
~you can refine selections further than possible in CS2, such as expanding and contracting the selection (I can't live without this feature), smoothing the selection, etc.
~if you're a photographer, you'd love the new Auto Align feature-- you can overlap images and edit them together (like if one person in a group photo shut their eyes, you can edit them out and replace them with their eyes in the picture where they're open!). This also has an Auto-smoothing feature as well, to blend them together better.
~updated Cloning Tool
~SMART FILTERS!!!!! zomg! Love. You can now edit your filters if you'd like to change the settings, instead of having to erase them and start over.
~better black and white photo editing

I hope this helped! I never had CS2, so I don't know what it's like, but I LOVE CS3. You could also get CS3 extended, which furthers the animation options.
