Order of the Phoenix ~ The book of THE Prophecy; with revolting toads, pink haired aurors, eccentric Ravenclaws, weepy girlfriends, irate centaurs, brooding godfathers, sadistic Death eaters and 16-foot giants to spice things up. tongue.gif

OOTP was a book that contained a lot of anger, most of it coming from Harry. He was justifiably short with Dumbledore and that spilled over on his friends too. If we thought that things would be okay at Hogwarts, we were in for a big mistake. Umbridge took it upon herself to give Harry the most miserable year he'd ever had at Hogwarts. Did she get on your nerves too ? headache.gif

Who else did you feel like kicking in OOTP ?

Who did you feel deserved accolades for their behaviour ?

And why ?

I've got to say that Dumbledore was the one who made me most angry. I'm personally a manipulative-Dumbledore believer, and I think that we can see a lot of Dumbledore's manipulations partly revealed in OotP.

Not only did he indirectly cause the death of Sirius (kept in Grimmauld Place), but he also refused to keep telling Harry, stating that he wanted to preserve Harry's childhood. It was quite obvious at the time that Harry's childhood and innocence was already over at the end of his first year at Hogwarts when he caused the death of Quirrel, and learnt of Voldemort being still alive.
