Getting Fitted for New Dress Robes![]() Posts: 43 Joined: 8:50am August 8, 2009 |
I'm glad to see that most people appreciated Luna! She is a great character. She stands by her convictions and does not care what people think. She is willing to listen to any theory Harry has, even if she does come out with a theory of her own from out of left field. She is the one person who can make Harry uncomfortable enough to look at the truth of things.
Harry probably disturbs me the most because of all his teen angst. He gets overly anger when anyone won't listen to him and immediately accept his word as ultimate. He has had a lot of experience, but he admits himself that success came through good luck and great friends. He should listen to the great friends and realize there are others with more experience and bigger plans. |

I have to admit it was just about all of the major characters who annoyed me most in HBP. Harry, and especially Ron and Hermione, were downright pains in the neck. And so were their romantic friends, whether Cormac McLaggan or Lavender Brown. For similar reasons I have to say that Remus Lupin takes some beating. He should have had more empathy for Tonks.
For those who pleased me most, just take a look at Dobby. Even Draco Malfoy undergoes a transformation that nobody could have predicted from earlier volumes. I also liked some of the characters left out of the film, but not the book. Such as Bob Ogden or Hokey. -------------------- Check out the Beedle the Bard Book Club |
