i loved mostly in the book when harry and ginny finally realize their feelings toward each other
but i didn't like how giny took him into the room of requirements... it was such a weak kiss! i like it in the book so much better! wink.gif

I love the idea of the glasses bumping the heads of the dursleys! Ha ha ha...

...I also love the idea that He Who Must Not Be Named protected his Horcrux in such an amazing way (compared to the others...

Diary - Given to Malfoy Snr
Cup - In a bank
Ring - Buried in a shack (with a strong curse I must admit)
Diadem - Room Of Requirements just hanging around
Nagini - Hisssssss)

because we get the greatest scene from any of the books so far!

HOWEVER I DISLIKE the fact that Snape's disagreement with Dumbledore is revealed by Hagrid - who really had nothing to do with the book apart from Aragog/Slughorn/memory and his "upsy daisy slip up" was IRRITATING! Grrrr

I know a few people who didn't really like Ron in this book but I want to defend him. The reason he started the Lavender fiasco was because Ginny ridiculed him infront of Harry.

I'm all there with you mate, Ron gets a bum deal in the last 2 books (particularly DH and the middle part of the HBP) but I think he is critical and is essentially a reactive character!

The most moment that I liked was the Harry and Hermione scene (when Ron and Lavender kissed), for the part that I most disliked was the death of Dumbledore, why? becuase Harry could do something!! but in the book he was frozen!! The whole part didn't make sence sad.gif

I know the Sectumsempra scene was a choice in the "not to like section" but it was actually my favourite scene in the whole book. I found it very interesting to have Harry as the villain and I also did conect to Draco in a way I'd never done in any previous book. He became more three-dimensional.

Harry's guilt trip after this scene was interesting too. Harry had finally been able to get to Draco, and then he did something so horrible that it took the pleasure away.

This was also the scene where one started to wonder who the half blood prince really was. Up to this point I'd been with Harry and thought that Hermione was just paranoid and jelaous about the whole thing with the book. Here, I started to wonder if she wasn't right.
