What are some of the things that you belive people in the Harry Potter story went on to do?

Katie Bell- New Captain of the Holy Head Harpies

Pavarti Patil- Marries Seamus Finigun

Padma Patil- Marries Dean Thomas

George Weasley- End up to be the riches man in the Wizarding UK at age 30 and gives his parents the luxary they never had.

Percey Weasley- Never becomes more than an assistant to various people in the ministry throughtout his life.

Bill Weasley- Owner of Gringotts at the age of 36??? (ages are mostly random)

Charlie Weasley- Remains a Dragon Tamer.

Oliver Wood- Becomes the Scottish International goalkeeper and goes on to win 3 World Cups at his position.

Proffesor McGonagal- New Head-Mistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Dennis Creevy- Photographer for the Daily Prophet in honor of his brother.

That's what i've managed to think of (at this point all 7 of the Harry Potter books are open on my desk and have been flipped through thoroughly). Tell me what you think of my views and anymore you can think of. biggrin.gif

Hate to break this to you, but Fred is dead!
But i do believe that George and Lee would have become quite rich.

Other thoughts:

Katie Bell - I always pictured her working at St. Mungos after everything that happened to her in the 6th book.

Percy Weasley - I can see him avoiding positions of power from now on. I think he would look for a career change, something away from the ministry.

Hagrid - If he doesnt open up a magical creature shop at some point, ill be shocked.

My brain is fried, ill be sure to post more thoughts later.

I still think Percy's with the Ministry, as he's discussing broomstick regulations. I just hope he's still remained loyal to his family. Judging by the fact that he named one of his daughters Molly, I'd say he has. =)

Oliver Wood has to do something with Quidditch. I can't see him doing anything else.

Charlie I can see keeping his job, and same with Bill and Fleur. They're already pretty established where they are.

I can see Teddy following suit after his godfather and becoming an auror, especially as his mother was one and his parents were killed fighting dark wizards.

I always saw Lavender Brown and Seamus together, I don't know why.

Lee I can see being a sports commentator at the Quidditch world cup...or as a radio personality on the Wizarding Wireless Network.

Professor McGonagall will the the new headmistress of Hogwarts, I agree.

Professor Binns will never leave his post at Hogwarts, and therefore students until the end of time will be subject to his blathering on and any hope of History of Magic being a fun class will be diminished.

Draco I see working for the Ministry.

Draco will buy Ron's beloved Chudley Cannon and return them to their days of glory.
For this he will have Ron's undying gratitude.

Ernie MacMillan will go into Wizarding Law, eventually getting a seat on the Wizengamot where he will in time become Chief Warlock.

Angelina Johnson/Weasley when she is not helping George with the joke shops (they open the Hogsmeade branch) will become flying instructor at Hogswart.

I can see Teddy becoming a Rock Star or doing something with the arts.
I agree that George will become super rich and I think he will open branches of his store overseas.
I can see Percy remaining at the Ministry but not looking for glory.
I was going to say that Hannah Abbot would be a Quidditch coach at Hogwarts, but maybe she will coach a professional team.
Hagrid will remain Hagrid but he will co-author a book about Magical creatures and how to care for them.
I agree that Professor MacGonagall will be the new Headmistress.
Kreacher will go to work for Harry and Ginny and Winky will stay at Hogwarts.
Draco will not find work easily; he will live off his inheritance or his wife's inheritance.
I agree that Professor Binns will remain as always and I think that Professor Trelawney will remain there until her death.

As for Bill, I don't see him moving from his desk job at Gringotts, he can't exactly go to dangerous tombs all the time with a family to care of. He can't own Gringotts though, the goblins would never allow a wizard to own the bank.

I think Dennis Creevey is more likely than anything to be a reporter for the prophet, not a photographer.

I think Draco, like his father, wouldn't need to work because he would just be so rich. Remember Lucius never really worked. I can see Draco influencing the ministry and keeping high company like his father did, using his gold and his blood status, though I think that Draco will be a fair bit better of a person than his father.

Did Jo ever say were Ginny and Harry Potter live? Because if not, I think it is possible they decided to live at 12 Grimmauld Place. I mean, Harry said it had been starting to feel like home in the seventh book, especially with Kreacher taking care of them. So perhaps that is where they live now?

Well, I hope that if they did move to 12 Grimmauld Place that they modernized it and finally got rid of the ugly heads and Mrs. Black's painting. Do you suppose they kept it unplotable and had to "sneak" into their home? What about when they had kids?

I'd guess that with the Fidelius charm broken, there was still some protection, that plus being unplottable, that it would still be pretty safe. I am sure their children would be secret keeper's though, if I recall correctly how the charm works. I think it would be an ideal house for an Auror, with so many magical protections in place. That and Harry and Ginny's children would be safer in such a house, with him being so high profile and a dark wizard catcher, I can see them being in danger more often than normal children. Also, perhaps with Kreacher on their side it would be easier to make the place look less dark and evil, and perhaps Kreacher could even help them shut up Mrs. Black's portrait permanently.

Do you suppose that after Voldermort died (finally!) there were many more Dark wizards to chase? They wouldn't have the protection of a powerful wizard. How do you suppose they shut up Mrs. Black? Now that Harry owns the place, does her magic become less powerful inside the house?
