Late last night, we got our first look at the latest trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film. For the 192nd episode of PotterCast, our Harry Potter podcast, the PotterCasters got together before a live audience over UStream to cover the moments prior its release, as well as give their immediate reaction to the trailer's premiere. Sue, John, and Frak are joined by two of our 'fake' Melissa's for this episode: Shoshana and Melissa. Sue's News starts of the show with the latest on Bloomsbury re-releasing the two Harry Potter Companion Books, the PotterCast tour, Deathly Hallows film news, and the new release date for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film. Next, the PotterCasters dive into discussion of the new trailer with their personal thoughts on the new film preview. We then take some calls and questions from the live UStream audience who give their feedback and reviews. Join in with the PotterCasters now for this special look at the newest Half-Blood Prince trailer today. To listen, use iTunes, or direct download.

Yeah, great 'Cast...
Just wanted to say that somebody (don't remember who) was trying to figure out where Ginny was grabbing Harry's hand in front of the unicorn tapestry. I know that those tapestries hang in the common room, but that just doesn't make a whole lot of sense...so then I remembered that in the international trailer, there's a super-quick scene of Draco (apparently) sort of skulking around near a unicorn tapestry hanging on a wall at the end of a long hall - *definitely* not the Griffindor common room. My first thought was that perhaps someone has decided to cover up the entrance to the Room of Requirement with this tapestry, but I'm not sure that the hallway looks the same as it does in OoP. So if anyone can puzzle this out, I'd be glad to hear it!

Plus, I've been wanting to ask: does anybody know why the Harry/Ginny kiss scene appears to be taking place in the trophy room? (And now there are a couple more frames of Ginny sort of gazing up at something in that room - perhaps a view of her from Harry's standpoint before the kiss?) cheers-

Loved the trailer! Can't wait for HBP movie!
I took a screen shot and made a few notes about it. Did anyone else notice the part where Dumbledore is supporting himself on Harry's sholder. You can see the "magical boat" and the basin the locket was in.
