The crossword is still unsolved... at least in here. wink.gif

However, I hope you had fun solving it, even if you weren't first in here! smile.gif

Squee, I got it! I can't believe I was actually first to get this, it took me a while - you have no ideas how many post-its I have lying around with what looks like alphabet soup on them.

Here is my solution to the code in the St. Patrick's Day issue:

T H E G R E A T S H A M R O C K D I S
S O L V E D T H E L E P R E C H A U N
S D R I F T E D D O W N O N T O T H E
F I E L D O N T H E O P P O S I T E S
I D E F R O M T H E V E E L A A N D S
E T T L E D T H E M S E L V E S C R O
S S L E G G E D T O W A T C H T H E M
A T C H G O B L E T O F F I R E C H A
P T E R E I G H T P A G E O N E H U N
D R E D F I V E U S E D I T I O N

Or in normal punctuation:
The great shamrock dissolved, the leprechauns drifted down onto the field on the opposite side from the Veela, and settled themselves cross-legged to watch the match. Goblet of Fire, Chapter 8, page 105, US Edition

When I saw the hint I instantly knew what to do.

My solution for the St.Patrick's Day logic puzzle:

Place: Prefect's Bathroom
Irish token: green water
Student: Aisling
House: Gryffindor

Place: Astronomy Tower
Irish token: Irish flag
Student: Maura
House: Hufflepuff

Place: Great Hall
Irish token: Reel dance
Student: Connor
House: Slytherin

Place: Courtyard
Irish token: shamrocks
Student: Sean
House: Ravenclaw

I hope I got it right. I was a little confused as to whether Aisling was a boy or a girl, but I think I figured it out.
