I've prepared a special quiz just for you all! Since you're all here, you must all be Leaky fans, so let's see how much you know about Leaky and the Lounge, shall we?

I've prepared seven questions and the answers after them. Depending on how well you do, you might either be a Total Nutter or a Leaky Fanatic--let's find out!

There will be no spell-checking quills, crystal balls, tarot card readings, or search engines (on Leaky or off) allowed! That would be cheating, and you all are smarter than that! biggrin.gif

So at long last, here are the questions:

1) Which of the following events happened right after Leaky won its fan site award from Jo Rowling in 2005?
a) PotterCast was first released on the site to take advantage of the new traffic
b) They had to get the Leaky Lounge a whole new server because of all the new traffic
c) Gred and Forge sneaked their canary cremes into the staff kitchens, leading to an epidemic of sudden canary transfigurations

2) What was regularly posted on the Lounge in the weeks just before book six's release to help build the already sky-high anticipation?

3) Where did PotterCast do their live podcast from on the day before the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows?

4) When does the Leaky Lounge hold its annual headless hunt?

5) In what year was the Leaky Cauldron site founded?

6) What day of the year is the Leaky Lounge's anniversary?

7) What symbol was used to mysteriously tease the announcement of the Cauldron Shop on Leaky?

And a bonus question for those of you who paid attention in History of Magic, like me:
What was the name of the witch or wizard who founded the original Leaky Cauldron?

-----------------------------

And here are the answers--no peeking! eyebrow.gif

1) B
2) Half-Blood Prince Prediction Polls
3) Naperville, Illinois (The Party that Must Not Be Named at Anderson's Bookstore)
4) Hallowe'en
5) 2000
6) January 28th
7) Question marks
Bonus: Daisy Dodderidge

How well did you do?

1-2 correct: Not Quite Leaky Enough
3-5 correct: A Leaky Fan
6-7 correct: A Total Leaky Nutter!

Hermione, that's a very hard quiz! You should at least give people a little hint, or maybe an infusion of dirigible plum tea to help their concentration.

Jeepers, Hermione. I know I didn't pay that much attention in History of Magic but wow, that was way above my head!

Pah! Feeling a bit air-headed today, Potter? Or are you just a bit distracted by our new, ah, artwork? eyebrow.gif

Needless to say, I was able to score a perfect grade on this quiz. I didn't need any mudbloods filling out my answers for me, either, Potter--I, unlike you, have a brain.

Given that I had ONE right, I must say it must be from spending waaay too much time in the Reading Groups! And not even Harry, A History helped me here! *sigh* - As perceptive as you, Harry, when it comes to history!!! I just don't remember names or years or dates or places or events or ... but I remembered where you all kept the cakes and I must say, there was not quite enough for this party! All sold out by now! blush.gif
