LeakyCon has opened this thread to help those attending the conference to find roommates. While we have negotiated a pretty low rate, let’s face it, staying in a hotel for a weekend can be expensive, and we totally understand that people will want or need to share the monetary responsibility.

That being said, we cannot stress enough how important it is for you to be very careful when choosing a roomie or sharing a room with people you may not know very well. Those under the age of eighteen should be particularly careful, and be sure your parent or guardian has met or spoken with your prospective roommate(s) and have the details on how to keep in contact with you and/or them during the conference.

Finally, we need to make it very clear that LeakyCon is not responsible for finding you a roommate, nor can we be responsible for their behavior.

CONSTANT VIGILANCE!

Hey everybody, Here's my situation. I have a great room for thurs - sat nights. But I need to be there wed as I'm actually one of the vendors and could use the extra time before set up. So....any bodyhave space wed night. Maybe you're getting there wed and other roomies aren't arriving till thurs. Maybe you've just got crash space open for wed. Basically anything is good at this point. My original room plans got messed up because of failed e-mail notices. So feel free to reply repeatedly or through more than one site.

Please let me know if you've got a solution.

Hello, this is getting quite last minute but I figured I'd post anyways. I'm looking for 1-2 people to share my room with still. I've had a couple of people bail out on us today and I'd like to replace them to cut costs.

Below is my original post, but here is an update on our status.

2 beds
Thurs-Sun nights (leaving Monday morning)

People:
3 people staying all four days, one person staying Fri Sat and Sun nights.

I'm really hoping for 2 more people.. the two of you would get a bed for sure. I can sleep on the floor and some of my friends are not opposed to that either. Prices divided equally among everyone.

I know this is completely last minute but I'm hoping for a hail mary here. I have a room that did have 4 ppl in it but one friend had to drop out b/c her job wouldn't give her the time off. Sooo I have an extra space in our room. We are all arriving Thursday around 3pm and leaving on sunday. We are 3 females all 21+ non-smokers Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws, but we will take any house.

We will split the cost evenly between the 4 of us. If you would like to take the spot please let me know no later than wednesday at Midnight.
