Supplies
Empty tissue box
Ruler
Pencil
Scissors
Small safety pin
Scotch tape
Black Marker

Instructions
Carefully open up the empty tissue box, removing the plastic as you go.

Using a pencil, draw an oval approximately 2 inches (5.08 cm) long and 1 1/2 (3.81 cm) inches wide on the box.

Cut out the oval with the scissors.

Tape the small safety pin to the side of the oval with the design on it about halfway down using Scotch tape.

Flip the badge over and use a black marker to write "S.P.E.W.: The Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare" on the oval.

Pin the badge on and wear it proudly!

Please note that the patterns and tutorials you find here have been designed by Harry Potter fans all over the Internet. The authors alone hold the copyrights and licenses to these patterns and tutorials, which means you CANNOT use their patterns to make something that you will sell to others afterward. You can use them to make things for yourself. You can make some for your friends and ask them to pay for supplies. You CANNOT, however, ask them to pay you to do it as though you had created this pattern by yourself, or try to sell you crafts to a local store.

Think about it. Would you take a Prisoner of Azkaban book, photocopy it, put your name in big red letters on the front cover and try to sell it in your local library? The answer is, obviously, no. Well, selling crafts you have made but not designed would be just as bad!

Please note that posting a picture of a finished object on Leaky Lounge will be taken as permission for the photo to be included in the Harry Potter Crafts gallery. If you do NOT wish your photos to be included in this gallery, please PM a Crafty Witch at the time of posting.

Also note that the tutorials, recipes and patterns found here have not been tested and that The Leaky Cauldron's Harry Potter Crafts section is not responsible for any mistakes they may contain. If you do find something wrong in one of them, however, please e-mail us to let us know.

On that note, Harry crafting to all!

Hi holy_craft and welcome.gif to the Leaky Lounge! We're glad to see the first post you're making is here in our crafts section!

To answer your question, if there is no picture attached to a tutorial it's simply because there isn't one. It means the author of the tutorial provided us with the tutorial, but not with a picture for the finished item.

However, if you would like to make this craft, you are then more than welcome to send us a picture at crafts@the-leaky-cauldron.org and our Gallery Crafty Witch Mary will upload it to the crafts galleries!

P.S.: You can actually send the pictures for any HP craft you've made there! And if you send a tutorial along with it, you get extra brownie points biggrin.gif
