And last Monday the Sarah Jane Adventures Series 2 came to a close with Part 2 of Enemy of The Bane. It was a bit messy but I enjoyed it none the less. Similar to what Clyde was goin through in Mark of the Berserker Luke had soem real tough descisions to make about his future and his 'parentel' alligence. This story was good but not my favourite.
US viewers take note, The Sci-fi channel are having a Sarah Jane Adventures marathon on the 16th of December where they will be showing all episodes of Series 1 in a single day. It starts at 9:30 am and runs through until about 4.
These are the details from This Week in Doctor Who.

A bit of excellent news has come in this months Doctor Who Magazine, while Torchwwod is putting the final touches on Series 3 Children of Earth and Russel T Davies' Doctor Who team continue to film the Easter Special (Steven Moffat's Doctor Who team are also working hard) News that the Sarah Jane adventure team are also hard at work preparing for Series 3 and it was announced that a very special friend will have a larger precense in the new series. K9 is to released from the safe and will feature in 6 of the 12 episodes of the new series (if the series resumes the same format this means he features in 3 stories.) A seperate series featuring K9 is also being developed in Australia, this series is said to have little to tie it in to Doctor Who main apart from the main character but with the new news about K9's involvement with Series 3 of SJA time wil tel what adventures lie ahead for the tin dog.

I've really enjoyed the Sarah Jane Adventures, I was really excited to see the pilot last year and waited eagerly for the series to start only to find that it was on when I was at work sad.gif I'm trying to catch up on the catch up tv on my digital box but they're not always in the right order sad.gif

K9 is my ultimate favourite I wanted my very own K9 when I was a kid. Wasn't there a short series with K9 as one of the main characters way back when. I'm sure I've seen a clip of it somewhere.

Legendary comedian, Ronnie Corbett, has been confirmed as a guest star for a special Red Nose Day version of the highly acclaimed The Sarah Jane Adventures.
BBC Wales are recording a one-off mini adventure to air on Comic Relief - Funny for Money airing on Friday 13 March BBC1 from 7pm.
The top rating children's drama comes from the makers of Doctor Who and stars Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith.
Executive Producer Russell T Davies said, "It's an honour to get involved with Red Nose Day, and with Ronnie Corbett, K-9 and an old enemy's return, we can promise Sarah Jane Smith's most extraordinary adventure yet!"
The BAFTA-nominated series sees Sarah Jane and the gang getting caught in a mysterious world of chases, danger, and monsters from outer space. The show has a huge following in its teatime slot on BBC One and the CBBC channel and the BBC Wales team are delighted to be contributing to Red Nose Day for a one-off mini adventure.
Written by Gareth Roberts and Clayton Hickman it also stars Tommy Knight, Daniel Anthony and Anjli Mohindra. A third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures will go into production shortly.
Current Doctor Who lead David Tennant will be presenting on the Night of TV.

I am so behind on this series. I am trying to order the DVD set for Series one, and everyone else is already thinking ahead. Well, I guess I have to be patient about it living in Holland.

Just wanted to update and say that the BBC has announced the new season begins in October. Conflicting reports as to the exact date, but both Digital Spy and people who watched CBBC last week say the start date will be October 15, meaning the season finale (entitled "The Gift") will be shown on Christmas Eve. Hopefully, we'll get some more concrete information soon...I need to know when to tune in for my fix of Tennant! This gap year is killing me!

The new series of SJA started last month on the BBC (in UK). My favourite so far has been the Mad Woman in the Attic because the alien did not turn out to be a bad person.

The episodes featuring David Tennant were on last week. I didn't think it was brilliant, but I was tearing up at the end. There was a subtle hint that it would soon be the end for the Tenth Doctor.
