When I was in Grade 2, I lent a wooden hockey stick to some guy who was 5 years older than me (this was in the school lunchtime, might I add).

When he went to hit the puck, his backswing was too high and he thwarted me in the head with the hockey stick. I had to get stitches and etc. but I now thing that it is very interesting that I have a scar in EXACTLY the same place and side of my forehead as Harry's scar.

Obviously it doesn't look like a lightening bolt, but many people comment about it and say I resemble Harry Potter.

Does anyone else have a scar like Harry's?

I was 14. My 6 year old neighbor was having a snowball fight with my friend and I, and she threw an ice ball at my face by accident. Tears immediately flooded my green eyes and the blood dripped crimson in the pearly snow. I had to get stitches right over my lip and it looked like I had half a mustache. It didn't help when the stitches got ripped out in a basketball game and I had to get new ones put in, making the scar even worse.

But I like my scar. I often make up stories for it. Stories that are wayyy cooler than this story (this one is the real story, not a fake one).

I have a scar on my knee! I got it when I was really young, 3 or so, I just remember walking down the street and falling and tearing up my knee pretty bad. It doesn't look like the London Underground, though...too bad, when I was in London this past winter it would have come in handy.

I myself have tons of scars, lol I guess credited to years of gymnastics, cheerleading, horseback riding and general fearless attitude which landed me pleanty of injuries. None of which are very Harry Potter-ish, though I do have a pretty good story about a Harry Potter scar. As it is I gave someone one. O.o

Years ago, I was playing baseball with my little cousins, which mainly consisted of me tossing up baseballs and hitting them myself to all of my little cousins/siblings to try and field them and run the bases. Well long story short, my smallest cousin at the time came up behind me while I was unaware so after hitting the ball I accidently pinged my little cousin in the forehead with a metal baseball bat on my backswing. His forehead split open and there was blood EVERYWHERE, drenching him and me as I carried him up to the adults. Long story short, a trip to the ER and a few stitches later he was fine. I was pretty young myself, 12 or 13, and felt horrible about it. A few years later though after watching the first Harry Potter movie he came up and said "Look, I have a Harry Potter scar, isn't that cool?" So that made me feel tons better about being the cause of his scar lol.

Back when I was just 10 years old, my brother scratched me with his fingernails and I still have the mark. It runs the whole length of my fore-arm.

Another brother-induced injury was when he was chasing me around the house when I was 7 and I fell and got a 1/2 an inch deep hole in my knee. It was really disgusting.

If that isn't bad enough, he through a metal can-opener at my head when we were little and my head was bleeding. It still hurts a bit when I press on it... Now that I think about it, it would have been a perfect Potter scar! But it's gone now...
