J.K. Rowling, author of Harry Potter, and Scholastic, the publisher of the Harry Potter books in the US, have donated a signed 10-book set of American Edition Harry Potter books for a special fund raiser to be held during LeakyCon. The set includes hardback copies of all seven Harry Potter novels, the two books written for charity (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them & Quidditch Through the Ages) as well as her latest novelette, Tales of Beedle the Bard. Scholastic donated the books for our charity conference, and J.K. Rowling has been gracious enough to sign ALL OF THEM.
To our knowledge, this is the only set of fully signed books in existence, and the entire set will be won by a lucky LeakyCon guest. You must be registered for LeakyCon to enter, and must be present during the raffle drawing, which will likely be held during the Final Breakfast. What a way to end your time in Boston, and everyone will have the opportunity to purchase a raffle ticket.
We will have more details on how to enter to win the set, including pictures of the set, before the conference.
A very special THANK YOU goes out to J.K. Rowling and Scholastic Books for this marvelous gift that will surely raise a large amount of money for our worthwhile charities.
