Welcome, one and all, to the Sorting Hat Song thread!
With the tragic events of the past few months, we must raise spirits with the greatest magic of all: Music. Professor Dumbledore was always aware of its power and our new acting headmistress, Professor Anelli, feels the same. But I have been quite busy recently and need a new song to be written for the Sorting Ceremony. But we need a change. I refuse to divide people this year. No matter what house I put them in, they will be united under the name of Hogwarts and your song must stress this importance. In this dark times we must stand together or fall under these dark powers. But still we must have fun! So this will be a contest. You have until 3pm (EST) to post your songs below. Then this thread will close and a poll will be opened at 4pm (EST again), for you to vote on your favorite! Hopefully I will announce the winner before we arrive at Hogwarts!
