I'm really glad PotterCast teamed up with HP Alliance. It was very inspiring to me. It also gave great links and tips on how we could help out, simple things we can do that can make a big difference

The weapon we have is love!

The situation in Darfur is so closely paralleled in Order of the Phoenix... I remember reading comments for this PotterCast on the front page, with people saying that Leaky shouldn't get political - It's not about being political, it's about righting a wrong. Dumbledore said a few things about doing what's right versus what's easy, did he not?

Darfur is not in the newspapers because the people who sell them don't want to report what people don't want to read. The situation in Darfur will only depress people.

Hello? Is Cornelius Fudge part of this? Because that's EXACTLY what he did when Voldemort returned. Every newspaper has become the Daily Prophet, in ignoring this issue. People would rather hear about the drug and drinking habits of young female celebrities than about people who need REAL help.

I'm really looking forward to the HP Alliance and Dumbledore's army.
