J R R Tolkien used Dwarf Runes on his maps and in his introduction to make it a little more difficult to read the messages straight away.
Well we thought you might like to hunt for a little treasure in here but, like Tolkien, we don't want it to be too easy  so we're going to post clues now and then to a place where we've hidden a gold ring. At the end of the book club let's see how many rings you've found.NB: All treasure is in the text of posts, not in signatures or avatars. This is the key:  So here's Clue No 1:
