Now that we're close to the release of the fifth movie, how about a retrospective of videos with interviews from each of the previous four movies? We've watched Dan, Emma and Rupert grow from eleven year old children to young adults.

It is so fascinating--and amusing--to watch these young actors grow up before our very eyes!
I had never seen the Katie Couric PS video, so it was a bit of an eye-opener. The kids are so natural and unaffected. I love this video! Probably the most amazing thing about the CoS premiere video is to note how much the three of them had grown between the first and second films, especially Rupert! The TLC coverage of the PoA NYC premiere is always fun to watch--and watch the volume on all the fangirls! GoF is my favourite film of the series so far, and this NBC video nicely touches on the dating issues featured in the film. (Catch Dan's totally "suave chat-up" line! And, naturally, the OotP video just makes me want to see the film even more! This is the interview where Emma spilled the beans about "slamming Ron against the wall with a spell" due to a "sexist comment!" These are absolutely brilliant! -------------------- |

From those cute little kids to, well, young adults. It's interesting to watch and see how their looks change but also the way they interact in the interview or whatever they are appearing in.
Awwwww. Isn't it wonderful to watch and just reflect? Awesome thread weirdsis -------------------- |

Wow - it's amazing to watch how these kids have really matured into nearly adults. They're so adorable at the beginning - and I was really surprised/impressed with how well they handled themselves on the Today Show etc. - very natural, they didn't seem frazzled/nervous/whatever at all!

Ah. I get teary-eyed whenever I watch things like that. I've grown up with them, which is so strange. I was eleven when the first movie came out and I just can't believe that there are only two more movies left.
Whats so strange to me is that Dan has changed so much. So has Rupert. Rupert was so much more talkative when he was eleven/twelve, and he's not so much now. Dan's just the opposite. -------------------- "I know who Harry Potter is. I just don't know who the other two are. Himmie and Roland?"

I know what you mean MonieLou! I have grown up with the Trio as well, I am a couple of weeks older than Dan and it is wierd to look back at how much he has changed!
It made me think just how much we change in a few short years...it even made me go back and look at some old photos from when I was 11 and I was surprised to see how much I had changed...when you look at the Trio at each year mark, you can see the definate changes that they are going through and it seems so much more defined, but really, they are growing up like you and me... -------------------- *My name is Jean Valjean! * And I'm Javert. They grow up so fast, don't they?
I love that they have stayed on to do all the films. We get to watch the Trio grow up on the big screen as we do in the books. -------------------- Prophecy 2007

As mentioned on TLC Main we now have three new videos up in the Video Gallery comprising the recent episode of Biography featuring the trio as they grew up through the series.
Part one -- discusses the HP phenomenon and adapting the hugely successful series to film. It's wonderful to see how these young actors have evolved through the series and exciting to know how they will build on their Potter experience in their future careers. -------------------- |

It is really wonderful to see how the trio have branched out into other projects with the end of HP on the horizon. Emma Watson has been particularly busy this month with her new animated film The Tale of Despereaux being released for Christmas.
![]() In the TLC Video Gallery, we now have a couple of new interviews focussing on this new film, and touching on her future plans -- Watson at the "Despereaux" LA premiere Watson on "This Morning" -------------------- |
