Hi,
So it was anounced that they would release Ultimate Editions with extended versions of the movies. Of course I got really excited, I mean extended editions would be awesome. And also there would be loads of extras! But now that I have them I'm kind of dissapointed. Philosopher's Stone only contains 7 extra minutes and I believe that those 7 minutes include the deleted scenes which were on the regular 2-disc version. And for the extras, well yeah there's this very cool thing on creating the magic of Harry Potter. But besides that there is very little on this set. And since these are the Ultimate Editions, I don't think they'll ever release sets with more extras and scenes. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Harry Potter and also the movies but the makers just never seem to find it necessary to put a lot of extras on it. I don't mean to bring you down or shatter your anticipation to buy these sets. I just wondered what you think. |
