Iv just been thinking and in the first film i remember ollivanders talking about harrys wand saying that the wand chooses the person and the feather or something in the wand i cant remember exactly is the same as the one in voldemorts wand, so what if harrys wand is a horcrux? the wand is also part of the connection that harry has with voldemort because of what the wand is made from do you think that could be possible?

Harry's scar is not a Horcrux. DD has already told Harry what the 4 are. Snake, Locket, Cup of Hufflepuff, Something of Ravenclaw/Griffindor. That's all. Why? Because DD said so. Ms. Rowlins said Lily is dead, the owl is just an owl, and the cat is just a cat.

Once again, will anybody support or refute me that the loyal purebred families were given Voldemort's horcruxes (I know Voldemort is a taboo word and I should use You-Know-Who or V or LV or He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, but come on people!). I'm open to statements of other families that may have received presents, too!

"Could Voldemort have given (or tried to give) to some of the "honorable" pure-bred families a horcrux? We see that the Malfoys had the Diary, the Blacks (may have) had the locket, and the Gaunt house received (posthumously) the ring. Could this all indicate that maybe the Snape, Lestrange, and Rosier families each have a horcrux?"

Dear Collegebookworm,

Snape is a half-blood, and if the locket is in the Black house, it's only because Regulus retrieved it from the lake in the cave and he (or possibly Kreacher or whoever helped him collect the locket) brought it back to 12 Grimmauld Place.

To add to this: The Horcruxes weren't distributed as "presents", unless I'm reading a completely different book named also Harry Potter. And they were hidden under great magic.
And I thought that only magic people (in the books) were afraid of the name Voldemort. Has that caught on in real life too? I thought LV (I like VD, funny, eh?) was short form.

Do we know exactly what the process is to create a horcrux? Is it possible that when LV took Harry's blood that he actually made a horcrux for Harry and therefore Harry cannot completely die until LV dies. And this is why Dumbledore had the gleam in his eye when he found out that LV used Harry's blood to reform? Just a crazy thought that just came to mind.
