i'm not sure if this has been asked before but i'll ask anyway, did voldermort know the whole story of what really happened between his mother and father?
 i'm not aware if it was written in the book (HBP or anywhere through the series) if he was able to find that out the same way dumbledore did? i was under the impression that the reason he killed his father was simply because he left his mother and/or he abandoned voldermort but i'm not sure if he really knew the reason WHY he left?
