TV Guide includes a fall schedule where it lists the new show, and provides links to information about each of the shows.
In the poll above, only the day and network are listed as the time may be different in different places. So, have you seen any of the new series this season? Which one was your favorite, and why? Do you think any of them will make it through the whole season and on into next year? **Takes off mod hat My favorite new show so far this season is The Class. I just recently had a high school reunion and it was somewhat similar to the just put togetherness of the one in this show's pilot. I could totally relate to how they interacted with one another after so long of not seeing one another. It has a interesting characters, it's funny, and I want to find out more about how their lives will come together. I can see a lot of potential in this show for relationships to form between them. ETA: My new favorites now that all the shows have aired at least once: Heroes- By far the best of the new group. The series reminds me very much of X-men which I used to watch all the time as a child, except that there is this immenient impending specific danger building. One of the shows (like Lost) that I absolutely have to see to find out what has happened, and what will happen. The Nine- I wonder how they weill keep 52 hours of a bank robberey told in flashback with current story going for more than a season or two. Love how we don't know everything that took place that day, and are slowly finding out as we go along. hmmmm... Is there a pattern here? I seem to love this mystery revealing as you go along sort of shows, with an ensemble cast. Probably my favorite of the new shows is Studio 60, as I really like Sorkin's writing, and the ensemble cast is great. It was hard to decide between Standoff and Justice on Fox, as I think they are both interesting shows. I agree that The Class is showing nice potential. I've heard good things about Heroes from other people, so I might have to check it out.

Supernatural. (2005 - Cont.-)
Dutch TV gets TV series later than other countries. So we are usually one, or two seasons behind. However, I like this one. I have seen 2 episodes so far, the pilot episode, and Wendigo. They do their best to scare you. Great visual effects for a change. I just hope they don't get the shows out of order, like the Dutch Stations tend to do, or just skip it mid season. Its a mix of horror, suspense, drama, and the Supernatural. Don't know how the series will continue, but I catch it every Monday night. Cheers, Helyx Wish I could get Torchwood - but I will end up getting the DVD series before it does actually show up on Dutch TV. This post has been edited by helyx: Oct 19 2006, 06:09 AM |

The only new show that I have watched is Six Degrees on ABC. I start watching it because it comes after Grey's Anatomy and it looked interesting. I like the show but am not completely invested in it as I was when other shows first came out. It does seem like it has potential but I think it may only run a few seasons, if that.
Overall, I am a little disappointed with the fall season. I usually have one or two shows each night that I really enjoy but this season there are two nights where I don't watch anything at all. New shows always come out in January so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. -------------------- |

fawkes28, same here. I've only seen Six Degrees, but it isn't that interesting. I too am disapointed with the fall season. There haven't been any new good shows that have captivated me, except maybe Paula's Party on Food Network

I love Heroes and Studio 60.
Standoff is real good also. Liked Justice but since they are moving it against Heroes and Monday Night Football they just lost me. I've liked Class so far but am a little skeptical with 2 story lines involving adultery. -------------------- |

I wound up having to vote for Jericho on ABC, even though it's NOT on ABC, it's on CBS. And missing its 'h' in the poll.
I also voted for Heroes, which actually is on the right network list, and I wanted to be a fan of Ugly Betty, but it's really sort of not grabbing me, at least not enough not to watch Smallville instead. -------------------- "Daaawlish" -- it's the new "Smurf"! "The name is Dawlish. John Dawlish."

I watch Studio 60 and Jericho "religiously", and do my best to catch every episode of Heroes, Shark, and Friday Night Lights. The Unit isn't a new show, and Smith has already been cancelled (the timeslot will be filled with CSIs and Criminal Minds until they figure out what to do with it). And yes, Jericho is on CBS, though most of the other new shows on ABC don't interest me (tried watching What About Brian, Brothers and Sisters, The Nine and Six Degrees, weren't that good, although Six Degrees got some bonus points for having Shiri Appleby).
Runaway, Vanished, and Kidnapped are the next to go most likely. -------------------- "It's like you get homesick for a place that doesn't exist.... Maybe that's all family really is, a group of people who miss the same imaginary place." ----Andrew Largeman, Garden State
