Hm, that second generator tells me I was an Eavesdropping Bird-tamer in Middle Earth. The feminine root name I think I prefer is Angatourien. The hobbit lass I was had the name Adamanta Hill from The Far Downs.
As a dwarf I would have been Nîm Poolrage -- I kind of like this because of that TV series Surface, and the little sea monster named Niim whom I believe experienced pool rage when he was being held for observation at the seaquarium. The orcish name is hilarious. Ugsnak the Meek. Meek orc, you say? Short-lived orc say I. And the Adunaic name was Iyadakhaba. Very exotic. Now, using the user name "Witchchylde Kathleen", I got some equally interesting results. The Red Book lists Witchchylde Kathleen as a Smiling Elf. Her Elven name would have been Thincairiel. Her Hobbit name was Adamanta Brandybuck from The Far Downs -- and I'm all for being a Brandybuck! The Dwarvish name is Ibun Poolguard. So rather than rageful, this Dwarven lass was a sturdy guard. Nice. The orcish name was another meek one, so probably another early demise there. And the Adunaic name was Sûlakhaphur, nice as well but not quite as nice as the first. Ooh, and Witchchylde Kathleen in Tengwar! http://derhobbit-film.de/rune/runes.php?fs...ylde%20Kathleen This post has been edited by Whisperwing: Jun 18 2008, 08:47 AM -------------------- "Daaawlish" -- it's the new "Smurf"! I tried the second name generator for all my Middle Earth names, and here's what it came up with.
In Middle Earth I was a Ring Wearing Elf - cool! The feminine Elven name I prefer is Belegcairiel My Hobbit lass name is Adamanta Tunnelly from the Far Downs My Dwarven name is Kim Poolguard My Orkish name is Thrakwakh the Meek - I love this one! And my Adunaic name is Karabkaphur! -------------------- ![]() ![]() Jo's Book Nook is now reading Skellig by David Almond and The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge. My Hobbit name is Tigerlily Broadbelt. I quite like it actually. I think tigerlilys are pretty flowers.
My Elven name is Tamuríl Anwamanë. I couldn't pronounce it if I tried. I really don't like that one. EDIT: Aparently, I forgot to type a bunch of words. This post has been edited by Deathly Hallower: Jun 18 2008, 10:45 AM -------------------- ![]() |

My hobbit name is Olo Gamgee-Took of Bywater and my Elvish name is Findecáno Telrúnya. Weird.
-------------------- As each and every piece of his home swirled around him and into the sky, his body was covered with cuts and gashes. As the last shard hit him and flew up, he collapsed, wondering how long it would be until he bled to death. Crying, he fell asleep; hoping that when he woke up, the house would be there...

I went to the site that Mollycoddle88 posted and it turns out I'm a Furry-footed Stone-troll *quietly examines feet and realises that they are, at this minute, blue and furry* spooky. Hobbit name: Adamanta Whitfoot from The Far Downs Dwarf name: Mundin Poolhammer Orkish name: Globkû the Meek Adûnaic name: Manôkhakil Hmm, I think on balance I'll stick with my other Hobbit name - Ruby Gamgee-Took of Bywater, I like being a Gamgee-Took and "Ruby" is one of my favourite Kaiser Chiefs songs. lol hehe, I put in my username and it came up as a Prancing Elf This post has been edited by Dreamteam: Jun 19 2008, 04:12 PM -------------------- ![]() March's Book Nook: The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge/Skellig by David Almond "THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED!" roared Black. Mongo Hardbottle---
hmmm...not sure what to think about that. If I were to make up a Hobbit sounding name for myself, it would probably be something like Geeko Thrushbabble. -------------------- click the Q "And, if there is need to speak in brief summary of this power, we shall find that none of the things which are done with intelligence take place without the help of speech, but that in all our actions as well as in all our thoughts speech is our guide, . . ."
