Has Harry Potter already been nominated wizard of the month? I can't remember for sure.. I know Rowena, Salazar and others have I can't quite remember for Harry's sake. IF he hasn't I don't know what's taking so long lol.

The Wizard of the month only changes when a character has a birthday. Ron & Hermione haven't been wizard of the month. You can see the history by clicking on the calander & arrowing left. The most recent change was Molly Weasley's birthday.

Something that's been kind of nagging at me.
On the Wizard of the Month Archive for Albus Dumbledore, it lists his year of death as 1996. I wish Jo would change that. As we know - and as JKR knows, since she was the one who made the decision in the first place -, Dumbledore died in June 1997. Obviously the 1996 date listed was just an innocent error but, in the interests of accuracy, I'd like to see it rectified on her site. (smile) Laura Yes, the same is true for the death date of Fred Weasley. It is listed on the Weasley Family tree Jo wrote as 1997, but it would have been 1998.

Dumbledore dies at the end of book six which was the 1996-1997 school year making his death in 1997.

No one is ever "Wizard of the Month" now since they stopped updating them in 2007. They have all been archived. The appearance will change when a character's birthday occurs, but this doesn't make them Wizard of the Month... it just recognizes their birthday.
