The moderators here in Wizarding Wireless Network are going to be starting a new feature where we will showcase one actor or actress a month. You will all have the opportunity to vote on who you would like and then we will see a poll and thread devoted to that one individual.

We've decided to start out this month with Adam Sandler. Many of you may be asking yourself why we chose him, well...we don't have a very good answer to that biggrin.gif , other than he is one of my favorites and I got to put the thread together first.

You all will be picking the next ones. This thread is the place for you to be putting your ideas down and then shortly we will start a poll. Since Adam Sandler is first, lets have an actress next month.

One of my all time favorite actresses is Emma Thompson. I don't think she's ever been in a movie I haven't liked, and her performances are always fantastic, and wonderfully portrayed smile.gif

Reese Witherspoon has been one of my favorite actresses since 1999. Cruel Intentions is one of my favorite movies and she's wonderful in it. I also loved her as June Carter in Walk the Line. She did her own vocals for the role and even though she had never sung before, she sounded pretty good.

Maybe after her tragic death we could discuss Natasha Richardson. I loved her role in The Parent Trap smile.gif

Or maybe Maggie Smith who has had a long and successful career

I've always really admired Kate Winslet - I think, she's done a lot of interesting roles, I like her attitude and I was happy when she finally got an Oscar happy.gif

You can find the new thread on Natasha Richardson here. It was a tie between her and Reese Witherspoon so we will be discussing her in July. Right now we are looking for a male actor for June. (might I suggest Alan Rickman or Nathan Fillion? wub.gif )

I second Nathan Fillion. He was so great in Dr. Horrible as Captain Hammer. I also really like his new show Castle. Though I might only like it because of him.
I would also love to talk about Neil Patrick Harris! Oh, I am so in love with him. Everything he does is amazing. How I Met Your Mother is one of my favorite shows, and I love his character. I can't wait for Barney & Robin to be together. As I mentioned above with Nathan, Dr. Horrible is amazing and Neil was fantastic in it. When he hosted SNL, the broadway skit was the best.

Alan Rickman sounds good, Iheartprofessorsnape biggrin.gif And I would also like to suggest Ralph Fiennes - we all know him as Voldemort, but he's done a great variety of quite different roles and, in my opinion, he's a great actor biggrin.gif wub.gif

I'm going to propose Colin Firth and Hugh Grant for discussions in the next month wub.gif I absolutely love both actors smile.gif I'll also propose Hugh Jackman (dreamy!), Chris Pine and Gary Oldman.

Thanks so much for taking the time and giving us your suggestions everyone! I've turned this thread into a poll, so please vote for the actor we'll be discussing in June happy.gif
